Promoting Civic Participation in Governance and Accountability Mechanism through Integrated Technology
- ToT on SUSASAN School II on Promoting Civic Participation in Governance and Accountability Mechanism through Integrated Technology was organized by Freedom forum for project staffs on 14th-16th Oct 2018 at Dhulikhel.
- Based upon the learning, the same training was conducted for selected CSOs from 2nd -6th of January 2019 in Jayaprithvi Municipality and Masta Rural Municipality Bajhang. Training was organized with the objective of developing the knowledge, skill and perception about the open data, budget transparency, citizen report and grievance readdressal and integrated Technology for representatives of the civil society organizations. Out of 30 CSOs 20 CSOs representative and local government representative from Jayaprithvi Municipality and Masta Rural Municipality had participated in the training program. The status of satisfaction of all participants in the training was 3 or more in scale of 1-5. The Training was facilitated by SUSASAN team and municipals IT officer of Jayaprithvi mucicipality and Masta Rural Municipality. There was active participation of CSO members and government representative in training. Group practice, presentation, Game, discussion method were implied for training.
- The training was participated by 177 participants including both local government representatives and CSOs representatives.
