Masta Rural Municipality, Bajhang – May 21, 2025

Under the Improved Food Security Sustainable Livelihood, and Empowerment of Women Project implemented by Sahara Nepal Bajhang with financial support from Swallows of Finland, a Financial Literacy Training was successfully conducted for women members of local producer groups.

The training was held from May 16 to 21, 2025 (2082 Jestha 2–7) in three locations Masta RM Bhatekhola (Ward 4), Rilu (Ward 6), and Thakunna (Ward 7)  with each location hosting the session for two days.

Participants included women from producer groups across Wards 3 to 7 of Masta Rural Municipality, along with representatives and staff of Sahara Nepal.

The training focused on enhancing women’s knowledge and skills in saving, budgeting, household financial planning, loan management, mobile banking, and active participation in financial decision-making. The sessions involved group discussions, practical exercises, and experience sharing.

स्वालोज अफ फिनल्याण्डको आर्थिक सहयोगमा साहारा नेपाल बझाङ्गद्वारा सञ्चालित खाद्य सुरक्षा सुधार, दिगो जीविकोपार्जन र महिला सशक्तिकरण परियोजना अन्तर्गत कृषक समूहका महिला सदस्यहरूका लागि वित्तीय साक्षरता तालिम सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न गरिएको छ। उक्त तालिम २०८२ साल जेठ २ देखि ७ गतेसम्म (16–21 May 2025) मष्टा गाउँपालिकाको वडा नं. ४ भातेखोला , वडा नं. ६ रिलु र वडा नं. ७ ठकुन्ना मा एक स्थानमा दुई दिनका दरले संचालन गरिएको थियो।

तालिममा वडा नं. ३ देखि ७ सम्मका कृषक समूहहरूका महिला सदस्यहरू, साहारा नेपालका पदाधिकारी तथा कर्मचारीहरूको सक्रिय सहभागिता रहेको थियो। तालिमले महिला सदस्यहरूलाई बचत, खर्च व्यवस्थापन, घरेलु आर्थिक योजना, ऋण व्यवस्थापन, मोबाइल बैंकिङ्ग र आर्थिक निर्णय प्रक्रियामा भागीदारी सम्बन्धी विषयमा सशक्त बनाउने उद्देश्य राखिएको थियो। सहभागीहरूले व्यवहारिक अभ्यास र समूह छलफलमार्फत वित्तीय ज्ञान प्राप्त गरेका थिए।
