Goat Shed Repair and Stall Construction Completed for Stall-Feeding Practice

Under the Improved Food Security, Sustainable Livelihood, and Empowerment of Women Project implemented by Sahara Nepal Bajhang with financial support from Swallows of Finland, goat shed repair and stall construction activities were carried out only in 2025 in Masta Rural Municipality, Wards No. 3 to 7.

As part of the initiative to promote stall-feeding practices, more than 10 goat sheds were repaired and upgraded with proper stalls during 2025. The program aims to make goat farming more organized, hygienic, and productivity-oriented.

Through the adoption of stall-feeding practices, improvements in animal health, efficient fodder management, environmental sanitation, and increased household income are expected. Sahara Nepal Bajhang has expressed its commitment to continuing such support programs in the future to strengthen sustainable livelihoods and economic empowerment of targeted communities.
