Interaction Program on Local-Level Planning and Budget Conducted

On 28 November 2025, an interaction program on local-level planning and budgeting was conducted between women farmers and locally elected representatives in Masta Rural Municipality.

The program was organized by Sahara Nepal Bajhang under the Improved Food Security, Sustainable Livelihood, and Empowerment of Women Project, with financial support from Swallows of Finland.

The initiative provided a platform for women farmers and local representatives to discuss priorities, share perspectives, and strengthen participation in planning and budgeting processes at the community level. Such interactions aim to enhance inclusive decision-making, promote women’s engagement in local governance, and support community-driven development initiatives.
