Irrigation Pond Constructed in Masta Rural Municipality ward no 6, Rilu

Masta RM Bajhang- This year 2025

With financial support from Swallows of Finland, Sahara Nepal Bajhang successfully constructed an irrigation pond in Ward No. 6, Rilu, Masta Rural Municipality under the Improved Food Security, Sustainable Livelihood, and Empowerment of Women Project.

The newly constructed pond has a capacity to store 5,000 liters of water, providing a reliable source of irrigation for local farmers. This initiative aims to enhance agricultural productivity, promote sustainable farming practices, and support efficient water management in the community.

Through this project, Sahara Nepal Bajhang continues to strengthen food security, livelihood opportunities, and community resilience for vulnerable farming households in the region.
