Kitchen Garden Support Provided in Masta Rural Municipality

With financial support from Swallows of Finland, Sahara Nepal Bajhang provided kitchen garden support to 35 Dalit and marginalized farmers from Wards 3, 5, 6, and 7 of Masta Rural Municipality.

Under this support, farmers received vegetable seeds and basic gardening materials to promote the production of fresh and nutritious vegetables at the household level. The initiative aims to improve household nutrition, food security, and self-reliance, while reducing dependency on purchased vegetables.

The program particularly focused on Dalit and highly marginalized households, contributing to inclusive development and better access to healthy food.

This support is expected to strengthen nutrition-sensitive agriculture practices and enhance the overall well-being of vulnerable communities in Masta Rural Municipality.
