Foxtail Millet Pocket Area Established in Masta Rural Municipality

Bajhang, Masta RM – On 4 April 2026, a Foxtail Millet Pocket Area Establishment Program was successfully conducted in Ward No. 4, Agra of Masta Rural Municipality under the project aimed at improving food security and promoting sustainable livelihoods.

The program was implemented by Sahara Nepal Bajhang with financial support from Swallows of Finland.

The program focused on encouraging local farmers to expand foxtail millet cultivation and enhance agricultural productivity in the area. The farmers and community members actively participated in the program.

The event was attended by local farmers, community representatives, and project staff. This initiative is expected to strengthen local agricultural production, improve food security, and contribute to sustainable livelihood opportunities for the community.
