Three-Day Homestay Management Training Concludes in Saipal Rural Municipality
Bajhang Saipal RM – A three-day Homestay Management Training was successfully conducted in Saipal Rural Municipality–3, Kanda, organized by the Nepal Tourism Board, STP, UNDP, and Sahara Nepal Bajhang. The training took place from Kartik 27–29, 2082 BS with the collaboration of the Saipal Rural Municipality Office.

The inaugural session was attended by Chairperson Manveer Bohara, Vice-Chairperson Dolma Tamang, Chief Administrative Officer Sandesh Prasad Joshi, local representatives, staff members, as well as Sahara Nepal Bajhang Secretary Janak Bahadur Dwal and Focal Person Basant Bohara

A total of 21 participants (11 women and 10 men) from Wards 1–4 attended the training. They received both theoretical and practical guidance on homestay registration, management, hospitality, hygiene, and local cuisine-based cooking. The training was facilitated by Suraj Bastola, Treasurer of the Homestay Federation Nepal.

The training aims to help local homestay businesses become organized, sustainable, and tourist-friendly, contributing to the promotion of local tourism and increasing community income.
